What filter classes do Samsung MVHR units use?

The Samsung ERV filter sets we stock use F7 (ePM1) filters throughout: two filters for the ERV 250 and four for the ERV 350/500 and ERV 800/1000. F7 captures fine dust and pollen and keeps the heat exchanger clean.
Does Samsung make heat recovery ventilation units?

Yes. Samsung makes ERV (energy recovery ventilation) units, often installed alongside Samsung air conditioning systems. We stock house brand filter sets for the Samsung ERV 250, ERV 350/500 and ERV 800/1000. If your unit carries a Samsung nameplate, match it by model code or measure the filters directly.
How often should Samsung MVHR filters be replaced?

The standard interval is every 3–6 months, though it's worth shortening in these cases:
- There are pets in the home
- There are allergy sufferers in the household
- Nearby construction or renovation work is increasing the amount of dust in the air
Regular replacement not only maintains air quality but also protects the unit's heat exchanger and fans from excessive strain.
How do I find the right filter if I don’t know the exact model of my Samsung MVHR unit?

First check the sticker on the unit's casing or front panel — it usually shows the full model code. If there's no sticker or it's been peeled off, remove the old filter and simply measure its width, height and thickness in millimetres — these dimensions let you find an accurate match even without knowing the model name. Since Samsung recovery units are found in Estonia less often than more popular MVHR brands, we recommend confirming the dimensions before ordering so the filter can be sent out without delays.
Do you also supply filters for Samsung ERV units installed in offices and commercial spaces in Estonia?

Yes. Samsung energy-recovery ventilation units are more often found in offices, shops and commercial buildings than in homes, and we supply filters for them on the same terms. An invoice is sent automatically after every order, companies with a valid EU VAT number see prices in the cart without VAT (0%), and for orders of more than four filter sets we offer additional discounts – contact us with the model codes and quantities. If the model code isn't visible, the dimensions of the existing filter are enough to find a match.
Does a compatible (non-original) filter work just as well as the original for a Samsung MVHR unit?

Yes — if the filter class (F7) and dimensions match those specified by the manufacturer, a compatible filter filters the air just as effectively as the original, since both are made to the same ISO 16890 standard. The only real difference is price: because Samsung isn't a major manufacturer in this segment, its original filters can sometimes be harder to find and more expensive. The most important thing is to accurately identify your unit's model and filter dimensions before ordering.
