How do I find the right filter for my Recom heat recovery unit?

The quickest option is the model code on the front cover label. We stock filter sets for the Recom 2RT, 2SR, 3SEF, 3SR, 4RT, 4S(E), 4SR, 6S(E), 6SR, EPP2SE and EPP3SE. If the label isn't legible, measure the extract and supply filters directly and match the dimensions on our product pages.
What filter classes are used in Recom heat recovery units?

The Recom filter sets we stock are G4+F7: a G4 filter that protects the heat exchanger from coarse dust and a fine F7 (ePM1) filter that cleans the incoming air of fine dust and pollen. They are made in our house brand to the original dimensions for a precise fit.
Is it worth choosing an equivalent filter instead of an original Recom one?

Yes – our equivalent Recom filters are made to the same dimensions and ISO 16890 filtration class (G4 or F7) as the original manufacturer's filters, only manufactured in the EU and at a lower price. Since filters need replacing several times a year, the price difference becomes significant over a year.
If you're unsure of the exact size, send us the model code or the filter's dimensions before ordering – we'll check the match in advance.
How often should Recom filters be replaced?

Recom sets combine a G4 extract filter with a fine F7 supply filter, and in Recom units it's recommended to check the filters every 2–3 months and replace them once you notice reduced airflow or increased noise. The standard maximum interval is 3–6 months, but in a dusty environment or near a busy street it's worth checking more often.
Regular checks protect not only air quality but also the recovery unit's own heat exchanger from premature contamination.
How fast do you deliver Recom filters in Estonia?

In-stock Recom filters are dispatched within 1–2 business days and delivered throughout Estonia via Omniva, SmartPost and DPD – to a parcel locker or directly to your address. Delivery is free on orders from €100. Only clearly marked made-to-order items have a longer lead time of 5–10 business days. Since a clogged filter gradually reduces airflow and efficiency, we recommend ordering the next set a little before the planned replacement date rather than after the filter warning appears.
Do Recom filter sets include a finer F7 filter for pollen?

Yes. Every Recom set we stock is a G4+F7 set: the G4 filter protects the heat exchanger from coarse dust, and the F7 (ePM1) filter captures fine particles and pollen in the incoming air. There's no separate upgrade to order – just make sure each filter goes in its correct slot, following the markings on the frame, and replace both together.
